REINTERPRETASI KULLIYAH AL-KHAMSAH SEBAGAI BASIS MODERASI BERAGAMA

Latar belakang tulisan ini adalah berangkat dari realitas dimana agama dipahami secara berlebihan. Satu sisi sangat menyembah teks dan sisi lain meninggalkan teks sama sekali dengan dalih pembaharuan. Agaknya, dari kedua pemahaman ini, bukannya memberikan solusi malah memberikan masalah baru dalam realitas umat muslim. Dimana pemahaman kedua kutub ini menjadikan subjeknya minimal berada dalam sikap intoleran. Lebih jauh lagi, kasus terorisme dan ekstrimisme berangkat dari salah satu diantara kedua pemahaman ini. Tulisan ini menggunakan jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research. Hasil tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa kulliyah al-khams dalam pandangan Jasser Audah memberikan porsi yang banyak terhadap nilai kemanusiaan. Hal ini demi terwujudnya sebuah masyarakat yang harmoni dan bebas dari segala macam konflik.

Abstract

The background of this article is that it departs from the reality where religion is overly understood. One side deeply worships the text and the other side abandons the text altogether under the pretext of reform. It seems that from these two understandings, instead of providing a solution, it creates new problems in the reality of Muslims. Where understanding these two poles makes the subject at least have an intolerant attitude. Furthermore, cases of terrorism and extremism as a result of a narrow and intolerant understanding of religion, basically originate from one of these two understandings. This paper uses a qualitative type of approach library research. The results of this paper show that Kulliyah al-Khamsah In Jasser's view, Audah provides a large portion of human values. This is for the sake of realizing a society that is harmonious and free from all kinds of conflict.
